Seed funding
Rather than financing the operations of social entrepreneurs, we support them in developing sustainable business models. But as a startup in the social sector you do need some financial means to be able to focus fully on developing and scaling you idea, and therefore we do also offer seed funding. Typically, the level of funding will gradually decrease as we expect the entrepreneur to develop other sustainable revenue sources.

Advice and expertise
We believe that the most effective way to achieve social impact is to combine the strengths of the social sector with those of the business sector. We therefore connect social entrepreneurs with personal advisors from our corporate partners who provide business expertise and strategic advice. The entrepreneurs also receive coaching in areas such as leadership, strategic planning and impact evaluation by Reach for Change's local teams and our network of experts.

Noone can change the world alone – you need to have people on your side. A crucial part of the value that we add to social entrepreneurs is access to our network. This includes our network of corporate partners and their co-workers, including potential investors, media contacts and and other potentially valuable connections. It also includes our global team of Change Leaders. Change Leader sessions are held regularly, where our entrepreneurs interact with and learn from each other.

Credibility
For early stage social entrepreneurs, a critical success factor is credibility and legitimacy. Therefore, one of the biggest values we provide, is believing in the entrepreneurs and their idea. Making it through Reach for Change's extensive selection process serves as a stamp of approval, and being named a Change Leader in many cases opens doors to new opportunities and investors.
